Sue is an experience and qualified teacher who has worked with students of all ages and abilities. She has a BA (Hons) Degree in Sports Science and English Literature from Warwick University and an ‘Advanced Teaching’ Certificate from Bath Spa University.
Sue has studied on Drama courses with the ‘London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts’ and the ‘Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’. She has an excellent knowledge of Drama and Theatre and continues to attend Professional Development courses. Sue has trained in Classical and Modern Dance and holds a ‘Foundation Certificate in Dance Education’. She is an adviser for Arts Award, an Associate Member of ‘London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art’ and has worked as a tutor for the ‘Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing’.
Sue has worked for many different schools including ‘Worth School’ in Sussex and ‘Italia Conti’ in Surrey. She has also successfully run her own school of Dance and Drama. Her students have gained excellent results in G.C.S.E, A. Level, L.A.M.D.A and R.A.D.A examinations and many of them have continued to study Drama and Theatre at University or Performing Arts Colleges or have been accepted by the National Youth Theatre.
Sue has produced and directed many plays and performances for students and enjoys writing new work for the stage.
Sue is looking forward to working with the students at the Gielgud Academy.
