Suzanne Gielgud trained at the Bush Davies School and the Royal Ballet Upper School after which she enjoyed a career as a professional ballet dancer with the Wiener Ballet Theatre, the Vienna Festival and Ballet Sopiane – National Ballet of Pecs in Hungary.
In 1997, along with choreographer Piers Gielgud whom she later married, she founded Re.Animator Management – which soon became the leading agency for professional dancers in the UK. They have since renamed it Gielgud Management (www.gielgudmanagement.co.uk) and continue to specialise in providing professional dancers and musical theatre artists for West End musicals and tours as well as Film and TV.
In 2003, after training at Brighton Film School Suzanne established Gielgud Films (films.gielgud.com) and her first documentary ‘Dancing for Oliver’ which featured an exclusive interview with the four times Oscar winning Director Oliver Stone won the Best Documentary Award 2006 at Marbella Film Festival and was screened at film festivals worldwide including the Raindance Film Festival in London.
In 2011 Suzanne created the Gielgud Academy, in 2012 launched GAPA Management – the agency and qualified as an ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) ballet teacher.
