Artistic Advisor
Sue Passmore is a member of the ISTD council (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and recently established a foundation degree course in Performing Arts at the University of Gloucestershire.
Sue has been Executive Director of Bird College where she founded the Bird Theatre Company and developed the first ever degree course in dance and theatre. Previous to Bird College, Sue was Artistic Director of the renowned Bush Davies School where she staged many productions at the Adeline Genee Theatre and ran the Genee Theatre Company. She began her career as a professional actress, debuting in the West End in the Sound of Music as Lisel.
Sue has also been a member of the panel for both Drama and Dance for South East Arts and taught for the ISTD and the RAD.
Sue is responsible for training some of the leading UK theatre artists and dancers in the UK over the last 40 years. She is pictured here with her protege, Eastenders star, John Partridge.
